Gotcha Day II
What a beautiful day!
We picked Wyatt up this morning, and still no bumps! We stopped by the baby store for a few things, and then back to the hotel. I left Wyatt here with his Daddy and went to the grocery store with another family with a different agency. Justin fed Wyatt lunch, and they were playing when I got back. When I walked in the room Wyatt lifted his arms to me as for me to pick him up! I thought he did it by accident I held him a few minutes, and then sat him down to put the groceries away. A few minutes later with a smile on his face, he looked up to me, put his arms in the air as to say hold me! It felt so GOOD! I know I have probably started something there, but I will worry about that another day. Then shortly later it was nap time I put him in the crib, and he started crying. So I went back in the room, not even real tears I rocked him for a few minutes then back to the crib. He cried for about 5 minutes, and then he fell asleep! He is napping right now, and after he wakes we will go out for a short walk before dinner.
We will post Gotcha Day II pictures very soon. But, let me just say it was a beautiful day! Could not have been more perfect. GOD is really good, and has blessed my family beyond measure. He has continued to be loyal to both me, Justin, and Wyatt. I want to raise our son in a way that will honor him.
Thank you Lord for our beautiful blessing... AMEN

Hallelujah! Congratulations! Fantastic! Whooo Hooooo! We are thrilled for the Meachams that God has added to your family with Wyatt. Sounds like today was the way it was meant to be. How thrilling that Wyatt is reaching for you. You pick him up, hold him, rock him, for as long as you want. All of you have waited a long time for this so enjoy every minute and every aspect of parenthood. Thank you Lord for reuniting the Meachams with their son Wyatt! We are praising and thanking God for blessing you so richly. Love to you 3,
Rykers
Congratulations! You have fought and overcome so many obstacles to make it to this moment, and I am so happy and proud for you all. I know that the two words "Gotcha Day" are so important, but there are two more words that I keep thinking about each and every time I read your blog, or tell a portion of your story, or even when I look at Claire...those two words are "worth it". Everything that has been...and is to come... is "worth it" when you hold your son. Enjoy the beauty in each and every day...even if there are bumps (or in Wyatt's case - no bumps) along the way.
Love you -
Kristin, Travis, and Claire
Congrats!! Sounds like Wyatt wants to hold you as much as you want to hold him. I am soooo excited for the 3 of you. Twelve more days before you are home. I am sure that it will go fast because Wyatt will keep you busy. Justin, don't spoil him too much because the older they get the more expensive the toys get. Enjoy you son and keep posting the pictures. They are great.

How awesome is our God! I couldn't wait to get to work to hear the news. And you spoil him all you want. I will vouch for every spoiled child in the world. You just don't want that "brat" attached to it. Enjoy every minute in the cold beautiful city. See you before you know it. Love, Rebecca

We are so happy for ya'll!!! I am sitting here crying and reading, just praising God for all this glory! The Meachams are one handsome family!!!!! Sometimes, I feel like it is my "job" to spoil my little one! I am sure you do, too...so go ahead because you both have waited a long time for that spoilin'! Nothing wrong with that! And if you are like me, you always will to some degree! Tell Justin that buying all the "cool" toys is Dan's favorite thing to do also! But I always remind him that: "the difference between men and boys is the price of their toys" so be aware (haha)!!!!
We love you all so much! Still praying that our good Lord continues to bless you 3 and keep us safe from here on out!

Abba Father, our protector and provider. How much you have done, and we know you are capable of more blessings which will be seen as Justin and Lisa care for your special gift. All our children are just that, gifts from you. They belong to you, and we thank you and praise you for this precious little boy that was given to our friend and family. Bring them more joy than they ever knew was possible. Allow Wyatt to feel more love and security than he has ever known in his short little life. This is thier time to just be together, hold each other and do what ever feels right. Don't let them second guess their actions, but know that you are in control, and you already have Wyatt's personality and life laid ahead for him. No amount of holding him right now could change that. Please bless the rest of their stay in Vlad. Help them to be a shining example of God's love in a country that may not. And we pray for their safe return home. Wyatt's new home! Thank you for allowing the Meachams to witness to all of us and bring us all closer to you, amen.
Amen! Yes God is so good. The pics are great! And Lisa, you can not spoil that baby enough! Hold him all the time, love him lots and give him too many kisses! It's all good!
You have waited so long for that moment Lisa and you deserve it! Spoil him rotten and enjoy it! Many happy tears are pooring down my face for you three! God has blessed!
