Another day with Wyatt...
We went for our daily visit to the orphanage. No changes, and Wyatt still has no bumps. They are saying Friday morning we can take him with us. We have decided that will be Gotcha Day II, and maybe we can get some pictures on Friday and not be so rushed as we were last Thursday. Irina left us at the orphanage today because she had things to do, and at one point one of the caretakers took Wyatt from us and said," nap time" so they took him to his room. I thought he was crying and went for him, but the lady said "Neet" which means No, and so I sat down. When Irina called to check on us, she learned of this and made them bring him back to me, she said, " he could sleep in my arms, and they are not to take the children from us" It was not a bad experience, just another reminder that Irina cares about Wyatt, and us. She told us today that she may have to stop being a translator, and helping with adoptions because this has been very hard for her. She worries about Wyatt, and about me and Justin. She says, frankly this is unfair for everyone. In all the years she has done this she has never had a case like mine and Justin's with so many challenges. We get him, we take him back, we are told we could have him, we are told no! I told her if she decided to stop doing adoptions then she should be a translator/ tour guide and invite all her families back with the kids, and give them a tour of their home city. I think 10 years from now I would like to show Wyatt this city, who knows how I will feel then, and if he will even be interested!
Another day planned for the orphanage on Wednesday, then Thursday Irina says Justin and I can get the room ready again, and rest because Friday it starts all over. It has been very nice of her to take us because it is an hour here for her, then an hour to the orphanage, then an hour back here, then she has an hour home. Our friends from Sherman, Texas are with another agency and they have not gone to see their son. All they know of him is what Justin and I tell them daily. It has been a very different experience for their family!

Hang in there just a little longer! We are praying for all three of you. Wyatt has some very special parents. God has blessed Wyatt and answered your prayers. Your joy will only be greater with time. Love the pictures and your daily entries. What a wonderful way to keep the memories and tell Wyatt's and your story. He will always know how hard you worked for the "child born in your hearts". Most of all he will know the love and longing. Can't wait to see you back in USA. Even though Joanna has moved, I would love to make the trip to Tulsa to meet your son. May God continue to bless and be with you.

I am grateful that God has given you Irina to be with you during this time and to guide you through this experience. Different cultures and everyone thinks they know what is best. Soon, you will be back in Tulsa, what is best will be your decision and new challenges will come. They are all learning, growing, exciting times, so remember to take it all in.
We love you.

Thank you God for Irina and how she cares for Justin, Lisa, and Wyatt. You have truly used her as your angel. Continue to watch over and bless the Meachem family and bring them home safely. If Wyatt is to have the chicken pox then let it be today otherwise let him stay clear. Thank you Jesus for answered prayers.
Love, Rebecca
It just amazes me all the walls that have been placed in your path to parenthood. Thank goodness they will all crumble soon. I agree with everyone else, Irina is an angel.
Hang in there you two!
We love you,
Aunt Laurie and Uncle Craig
