He's Ours, All Ours....

First, let me say that I am sorry you had to wait for this post. Computers at the hotel have been down all day! But, what a day we have had. It is 8:30 pm here, and I put Wyatt down at 7:45pm, he was one tired little boy because he had no nap today.

Court was okay, I say just okay because it was scary, I cried when the told us they had accepted our petition to adopt Wyatt. I tried hard not to show emotion in the court room, but Justin said the secretary of court was smiling, and that made her happy to see us care so much. The questions were tough, but Justin did a great job answering. He was unable to pronounce all the big medical words so Irina said in your own words what does that mean? You have never seen us so quiet. It was hard to concentrate on the judge because we kept wanting to look at our translator. But, we were told look at and answer the judge, not Irina. But, he is all ours.. He has captured our hearts!

Things went very quickly at the baby orphanage today and we did not get to take the pictures we really wanted because they were trying to get us out of there fast. The sanitation guy was on his way because they had a 3rd child on Wyatt's floor get the chickenpox and we were told they were trying to get us to leave the babies there until this was past.Irina said we could care for Wyatt at our hotel, and if he got to sick then we could bring him back for treatment. She said all they do is fever relief (which we have with us), and a green lotion which she will get for us at the pharmacy tomorrow. Justin spotted something tonight, but we are wondering if our minds are playing tricks on us. It is a wait and see!

He ate a jar of chicken and potatoes for me, but would not take a bottle. I hope tomorrow he will do better! Also, I have officially been pee'd on, while I was putting lotion on him tonight after his bath he got me. All we could do was laugh, and laugh, and laugh. I did not even get his first set of pajamas on him, and they were officially dirty. He loved his bath tonight, he was chasing the waves he was making. He and Daddy had a great time with that!

Well I will let you all know tomorrow how our first entire day together is. I have a schedule in my mind about the time he will wake up, we will feed him, he will nap, we will play, he will have lunch, he will nap, we will take an outdoor adventure, he will have dinner, we will read to him, he will go to bed. You get the idea, a perfect day planned. My mom tells me Good Luck with all that!

Thanks again for everyones post, and comments. We love reading them because we feel a million miles away from our home, family, and friends. Lucila, thanks for offering with Bailey and Joani I will let you know if we need anything!!

we are on our way to the airport headed back to Tulsa. I was reading your post to Mike, while he drives us to the airport. Of course, I had to stop reading it several times to wipe away tears of joy. I am so excited for all three of you.
Wyatt could not have found a better mommy & daddy. I can't wait to hear about your daily activities. I know that you have waited a long time for this day. I hope that it is everything that you thought it would be and more. Have fun and I will talk to you soon.
