Happy Easter!
On this special day I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Easter! We had our daily visit at the orphanage and still no bumps for Wyatt. We asked again to take him back to the hotel with us, and were told No by Zoya (medical doctor of the floor). She has said for the mandatory 10 day wait they still have complete control over his care. Only, on Friday or later would they release him.
Tomorrow Justin will be making the decision if he will go home. It depends on if the US Consulate can help Justin this early by receiving his signature on an exit form ( we did not complete a power of attorney for that transaction before we came over here), and if Korean Air has a seat available on the flight he needs. If both of these things happen he is going home, and back to work. The reason he took so much time off was so that he could bond with Wyatt, and as it is right now there is very little bonding, only the time at the orphanage.
Also, some breaking news came yesterday about a family from Utah who abused, and because of their abuse killed an adopted infant from Russia. Maybe not big news in the US, but here it has caused concern for Irina and she has canceled all extra activities. She wants us to stay safe, and stay at the hotel. Did any of you hear this news report?
Eat lots of ham, mashed potatoes, and dessert for me. Also, a Dr Pepper in my honor would be good!
As you each are starting your Easter, I am headed for bed.
Good Night....

There was no mention of the murders in our paper and I haven't seen anything on my computer. Be safe as you travel there.
We will keep you in our thoughts as we dine on barbecued country pork ribs and potato salad today! We ate ham for Christmas dinner. :)
Can't remind you enough that we love you and pray for your safe return home.
Love,
Aunt Laurie and Uncle Craig
Happy Easter. I wanted to say Thank you. Thank you for allowing us to share this journey, thank you for the post, and thank you taking the time to tell us about this exciting time in your life. Can not wait until this time next year when you are telling us stories of Wyatt chasing the dogs with his bunny ears on and the photos of him covered in easter candy. Stay safe and hope Wyatt is back in your care very soon.
I forgot to tell you that the pictures of Wyatt are adorable.
Love ya,
Auntie
Hi and Happy Easter to you too! Hope the Chicken Pox get a move on so he can feel better and be where he belongs, in the arms of his mother and father.
Love ya,
Amy
My dearest friends,
We are so saddened to hear of this poor baby. We have not heard of this sad story. We will continue not only to pray for your safety, but all adoptive parents.
Sorry that Justin and you are in the position to have to decide if he should go ahead and come on home. But should he come on home, please let us know if he needs a ride home from the airport...we will be more than happy to help if we can!!!!

Lisa, no mention of this horrible tradgedy here in the States. Only thing I found on the web was in 2003 and it was a 6 yr old child. I don't know, that would be horrible if true and maybe it is because of investigations and all that it hasn't become public yet. I don't know. I hate that for yall. I hate the fact that Wyatt has to stay at that orphanage again. But, Friday, if all goes well, he will be back with you for good. I think we have all prayed prayers of safety and health for this child that God is doing just that. He has put His shield of protection over him and that is that! We shall see. I pray that Wyatt will be with you very soon and you will never have to part from him again. Happy Easter my friends! Stay safe.

Oh Man! What to say? Unbelieveable? OMG? You gotta be kidding me? No Way? I am just so sorry that things are not going at all according to "Plan" I mean we knew your plans for the feeding and napping schedule might not be followed but no way did I ever think the Gotch Day would turn to well for one day gotcha then back to the orphanage to wait for chicken pox to show up on your new baby and now Justin might be on his way home. I really just can not believe all you all are having to deal with. I want to encourage you with letting you know that you all are constantly in our prayers we are praying for you daily and even more than that. Can not wait until you are back in the USA with Wyatt! Love to you 3,
Rykers
