Ok so tonight you are getting a twofer, (two for one, Lisa's post is below and should be read first) so I will add my two cents worth.
First off I know Lisa commented on it a while back, but that ammusment park in Bartlesville was way cool and way cheap. All the rides are "Old School", meaning that they were built in the 50's and will last forever with a little grease. Oh and who needs seat belts, if they fall out tuck and roll, tuck and roll!
That first picture is of Wyatt driving his first truck. On that night he also took his first plane ride. Now it was one that the kids riding could control how high they went and Wyatt was riding with the Red Barron. Talk about some nervous parents, Wyatt was strapped in with a rope that went from one side of the plane to the other, the only time it touched him was when he leaned forward to grab the controls. Lisa and I looked at each other and thought "what have we done?!?!?!?" Needless to say he loved it, and all the other rides as well. We (Wyatt) did not want to leave even though it was well past his bedtime.
The Last two pictures are of the splash park we visited this last weekend. You will notice that the two pics I put up do not show a splash park, but a swing and a mudhole. Those were the two things that Wyatt also enjoyed at the park. Almost as much as the water. He loves to swing and I was supprised that he would hang on well enough to swing in a normal swing (there was no kiddie swing). Somtimes when you swing you gotta swing with the big boys.
The mudhole was just to funny not to show. You know boys, give them a big splash park and all they want to do is play in the mudhole off to the side.
It was a great Fathers day weekend, very laid back and I was able to enjoy the company of my family, I wish they all could be like that.
