Our time here is coming to an End!!!
We will soon be leaving Vladivostok, and I must say I have mixed emotions about leaving. On one hand it is hard to believe we have been away from home, our friends, and family for so long, but on the other hand we came to pick up our son, and fell head over hills in love with this precious boy who has already begun to change our lives. For days I have been thinking if I were to write a note to Wyatt today what would it say? It would probably say something like.....
My Dearest Wyatt
From the moment that your dad and I met you, we knew that God had something special planned for all of our lives. We were so thankful that he brought us all together as a family. You have already had to fight so many battles in your young little life, but you have done so with such grace. The caretakers of your home where you spent the first year of your life, and Irina always say that you are a such a smart boy, and you are going to do great things in your life, and we believe that as well. We want you to know that your daddy and I want you to do and be everything you want, dream big son and know that we will always embrace you. Live everyday to the fullest, and if you fall we will be there to catch you. You may not have been born under my heart, but you were born in it. Thank you Wyatt for being our son, and giving your daddy and I such happiness. We love you very much!
Mom
So I guess I now have the beginning to my note. I will be packing tomorrow, and tomorrow night we are going to have a champagne celebration with the other families. I think we leave for the airport about 2:00pm local time on Wednesday, which is Tuesday night for you all. I will update everyone tomorrow on exact travel for Wednesday.
Have a great day.......

I'm so excited that you guys are getting to come back to the states on Wednesday. I know it can't be soon enough. Travel safe and I'll be watching your blog to know you made it home!
Oh girl I am soooo glad yall are coming home! I can't wait to see pics of Wyatt in HIS room and knowing yall are surrounded by family and friends!!! So awesome! It will just be so good to know yall are back home where yall belong! I must say, you are getting the full "Mommy Experience" on this trip - dealing with sickness, the staying up late and no matter how long you were up, they are getting up at the same time they always do and you are expected to do the same. It can be hard, oh boy, can it be. And there will be more, but there will be soooo many more good times and those will always outway the stressful ones. We love yall and we CAN NOT WAIT!!! Praying for yall's safe and speedy return!
I pray that that is the first of many letters that you will write to your son. I have tried to write one every year on the girls' birthdays. I think I missed this year though. Praying for safe and uneventful travel for you all. Love you, Rebecca B.
I am reading your post and I have tears of joy running down my face. The letter to Wyatt is priceless. I am praying for you safe return. Have a great flight home. I will see the Meacham Family in the states!
Love ya,
Sabra
What a precious, precious note you have to give to Wyatt. He will treasure that for the rest of his life. It brought tears to my eyes as I read it. We can't wait to see you and hug you all!
Can't wait to hear that you are home safe!
We love you,
Aunt Laurie and Uncle Craig
You really should consider posting a note " YOU MAY WANT A KLEENEX FOR THIS ONE!" right before the letter to Wyatt. That was the sweetest, most heart felt note I think I have ever read. Tears were filling up my eyes. Wyatt is so fortunate (and I know your think you are too :). This is so wonderful. God created the perfect match. I will be praying for you 3 to have a safe return HOME.

Won't be long now! We are almost to counting the hours stage! Sweet sweet sweet letter, so excited for the bonding that has gotten to take place there in Vlad. They always say growth comes through adversity and you all have certainly had your share. God is faithful and your faith has been rewarded as God has added to your family. We are anxious to see the pictures and hear even more stories upon your return. We are still planning on being at the Airport Wednesday Evening when you return. I know my boys are sure excited to meet Wyatt.
Love to you 3,
Rykers
