January Already.....
I know many, many people have checked in daily to see if I had posted a new update and I am sorry for the delay in getting this information updated. We had a wonderful Christmas in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Santa found us at our rented condo! Wyatt had a great Christmas, and received lots of cool toys, pj's, toy organizer ( more a gift for mom) and the greatest gift of all was making memories with his family! To think back and realize that Christmas day was exactly one year since we met Wyatt, and held him in our arms! The time really has flown by...... Being a new parent I am learning all the time, and what I learned about this trip was 10 hours in a car with a young child is way to long in the car, he did great, watched lots of Baby Einstein, but still his patience was tested. That was 10 hours one way! We got home Sunday night late and he went to daycare 1/2 the week, and then we all stayed in the rest of the week. Literally, we stayed in. We came home Wednesday night ( New Year's Eve) about 7:30 pm, and our cars never left again until today when we finally decided we needed to get out. So we got out and tackled several errands that needed to be run! Also, I did not make it an official New Year's resolution, but knew I wanted to make a difference in our house and get organized. We spent a full day on my home office and got it organized. It looks the best it has in years!!!! Now if I can get the guest bedroom done next I will feel like we are making great progress.
Next week Wyatt has several doctors appointments, one with the endocrinologist and one with our vision doctor in OKC. I will let you know how all those appointments go, we are hoping that maybe we can discontinue the patching.
I will post some pictures soon, but for now this update will have to do!
Happy 2009.....

It is hard to believe that it has only been one year since you first met Wyatt. What an amazing journey the three of you have had these past 12 months!
