It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Wyatt had his first experience with Santa Claus tonight. We had a Christmas party at Wyatt's daycare, and Santa made an appearance. What a great night! I stood there in a room of parents, and CRIED, and CRIED. I was not sure if I would be able to stop. I think back to a year ago, and where Wyatt was, and where he is now! They celebrate New Year's in Russia, with Father Frost but not Christmas with Santa. He was fascinated with the beard! Mrs. Chris is Wyatt's teacher and she loves the children so much. It is a small in home daycare with 6 children, 3 of which are hers. Another boy is a couple of months younger than Wyatt, and a little girl. Poor sweet Isabelle with all those boys! It is nice because not only do our kids go to school together during the week, but we all live in the same neighborhood. There was plenty of food, gifts for the children, and Wyatt even got his present from Santa. So that in itself was an experience, him opening his first gift. Justin would help him tear the paper, but then he would want to close the paper. Children and their fascination with paper! Beautiful evening, and the kids really loved the entire night. We will be thinking about Christmas, and this party for weeks to come.
