Happy Valentine's Day
What a great morning I had.......... As most of you know I have a heart for Senior Adults, and so today I took my boys and we handed out Valentine candy at a local nursing home. I told Justin yesterday that the gift I wanted for the holiday was a gift of his time. So we packed up and went to share our love with others this morning! Also, the picture of Wyatt, the elder lady, and dog was a sweet moment. She was placed in the nursing home earlier in the week, and after having her dog for the past 5 years she could not take her along on the move. So we picked the dog up, and took her to the home for a visit( visits are allowed), and even worked it out where the dog got to stay for a total of 5 hours today. I think it is never to early to teach Wyatt about respect for our elders, and I do not want him to ever be scared of the wheelchairs, walkers, and scooters he sees in the facility. He enjoyed riding on this scooter a little to much. Maybe next visit Pops will feel like taking him up the hall in the scooter, Wyatt would get a big kick out of the ride! I could see it in the eye's of the people we visited with how much they loved our time together. Valentine's Day is all about love, and love happens in many different forms!

I am with you. You can't start young enough teaching them to share! We took donuts to the firefighters today.....love the pics!
Fantastic!! What a great idea and how wonderful to share the love! The pics are great! I'm sure there was great joy in the home you visited and the elders loved seeing Wyatt!! Thanks for the example of spreading love.
Love ya,
Julie
I missed these over the weekend! I am such a blog stalker and then I miss one day and .....
Little ones are not with the elderly enough these days. Aiden loves his G.G. Bonnie and all of her musical equipment!
Thank you for sharing.
Love, Auntie
