Garage Sale Results....

Our garage sale has concluded, and our total is $1556.76! That is an awesome result for a sale, and thinking about the difference it will make at Baby Hospital #3 in Vladivostok moves me beyond words. The money will help buy much needed items,and medicine for the children living there. The amount is what Oklahoma contributed, but stay tuned for Ohio to report. They will be running their sale through tomorrow! When I called with my totals they had already made $1520, with a full day left. Oklahoma may just get beat. The only thing that can pull this out is if anyone wants to make a pledge, but I must know about it before 6:00pm CST on Sunday, August 3rd to count towards the total.

Katie and I are blown away by the generosity of people, especially in today's economy. From the donated items that poured in, to the volunteers that helped make it possible, and those that gave money to the cause. THANK YOU each and every person!!!! Please I have said this before but if you have not gone to Katie's blog you must. She has pictures posted of the garage sale in Ohio, and tells her story. Their newspaper wrote an article, and the new station came out today to cover the event. You can see from her pictures that she really took the challenge very seriously, and had a sign made Ohio vs Oklahoma.

This was all for the children, and I am feeling very blessed today, and feeling very loved by friends, and family who helped to make this possible. I want to sincerely Thank you.... Look for final totals to be posted on Monday.
