4th of July weekend.....

We had a great holiday weekend. We went to Lubbock to spend times with friends, and go to the Lake. Wyatt loved the Lake, not so much his life jacket at first, but the Lake was a definite hit. He loved the wind hitting him in the face, and watching the waves hit the side of the boat. He even managed to take a nap on the boat! Justin said he is definitely a lake baby, and we are glad because we both enjoy the Lake so much. In fact mine and Justin's first date was to Fort Gibson Lake. Wyatt was off schedule all weekend, and we are hoping by tonight he is back to somewhat of a schedule.

Wyatt had a doctors appointment today with the endocrinologist, and she seems to think things look fine with him. She was going to give the pediatrician a call, and she took an ex ray of Wyatt's hand said it would tell her about his growth plates, and his size?!?!?!? She wants to see Wyatt in 6 months, but until then she says continue doing what it is we are doing. He weighed 18.3 oz today. We are looking for the 20 lb club, because Justin is ready for Wyatt to be in a forward facing car seat, so at 20 1/2 pounds, we will probably turn him around, may try and go until he is 22 lbs, for safety. Remembering back Wyatt was 14 lbs, the day we left the Orphanage, and 15 lbs at our first US doctors appointment on April 19th. So 4 lbs, 3 ozs since March 28th is pretty good!!!!!!! We fight for every ounce, and get excited with each ounce gained.

Hope everyone has a great week, and Thanks to everyone who has donated to the garage sale cause. Our garage is full, I will take a picture and post it on the site so you can see what I am talking about. Look out OHIO...... We are scheduled to have a presale on July 19th because I do not think it will all fit in the garage until sale day. We still have donations coming in!!!!

Sounds like Wyatt is doing great! I hope we haven't given you too much "stuff".
We are excited to see how it goes! Let us know when it all goes down...maybe we will come and buy something! :)

I bet Ohio doesn't have a clue as to how competitive you are when challenged!! Can't wait to hear how your sale goes. I am impressed as I hate having a garage sale.

Love to all,
Auntie

My boys love the lake, too. But lifejackets.... not so much! I'm glad Wyatt is enjoying the swing!
