Emily's last day..

Today was Emily's last day with us. She leaves to go back to college on Saturday! I really was hoping today would not come, we will miss her terribly. I was going to try really hard not to cry, but it happened!! Now, Emily may be glad her summer is over, and she is back to school, but the weeks ahead will be bringing many changes for our family, and today was just the beginning! Thank you Emily for being so sweet, patient, and kind with Wyatt. Your gentle touch was exactly what Wyatt needed this summer! You will be an awesome teacher, and mom. Good Luck, and have a great semester!

Now, the official garage sale starts tomorrow and we are going in to this with $972.00. I heard from OHIO today, and they raised $675( they are having a 4 day Sale). Now, Katie has been telling me for a week that no way could they get close to the amount we had already raised, and then she posted $675, we spoke several times today and I told her she was trying to throw me off my game this past week saying no way could they come close to that amount. It nearly worked and I was slacking, but today I have been going through things in the house, and look out because if Justin is not careful I may put a price on his stuff!!!!!!!!! We MUST win this competition, and yes Katie I do remember there are no losers, and it is all for the children.

I will post again this weekend with an update. Everyone enjoy your weekend!!!!!!!

Emily was a blessing for Wyatt..After having her most of the summer and the boys for awhile, Wyatt is probably thinking "where did everyone go"???
He is such a joy to be around and always happy, I loved swimming with him in the lake. Give him lots of kisses for us and have a great garage sale!

Love,
Stephanie

So Lisa...we were not PURPOSELY trying to throw you off of your game. Our families repeatedly told us to give it up, there was no chance we were going to catch up with you. And honestly, none of us really thought so either. We were holding out for the miracle, and it is appears as if we have had some things in our favor.
We all thought you were cheating by getting great stuff donated and holding a PRE-SALE....but, I am no longer feeling like that! SMILES.

Now that the playing ground is more even, we are feeling much better. No one is cheating, we are all just doing what we can for the kids. WOW. Lisa, together, with 1 more day for you and 2 more days for us....we have nearly $3,000 to send over! WOW!
