Doctor changes mind and does want more tests...

Wyatt's doctor called today and said she wanted to run some blood tests because after getting her lab results from Dr. Raley it was noted he had an evaluated sodium count, nothing we are to concerned about, but since she is running tests she will go ahead and run some tests that on Monday she mentioned not doing because she did not want to poke him needlessly. We will take him in on Friday, and then early next week have the results. She also mentioned that his hand xray measured at 9 months, what does that mean I asked? She basically said that since his chronological count is early than his biological count ( or maybe the other way around) that he still has some good growing time ahead of him to catch up, where as if he were 16 months and had 24 month hands then his catching up opportunity would be less. Make since to you all? We will have to be at the lab at 8:00 am she wants me to wake him, and take him. This test level shows how he deals with stress in the body ie. during illness, surgery, or sickness. It is controlled in the pituitary gland.

I know I am to old, and do not like science, but I may have to go back and get my doctor degree. I have learned more about the body, eyes, and brain than I thought I would ever want or need to know!!!!!

Wyatt's cousins are coming this weekend, for two weeks to play with, and help with Wyatt. We will have a great two weeks, thanks for sharing your boys with us Stephanie and Don.

Well that sounds positive as far as the growing catching up thing. Hope the tests went well today. Just checking the blog now so didn't know you were going in this morning for tests. I'm sure Wyatt was a little trooper! We love you all and continue to pray for you all.
Love,
The Rykers
