Dr calls with results.....
Dr. Cholmers called this morning, and said that most of the labs looked good. There is one that will be repeated in a year, but nothing to concern ourselves with. I was telling Emily this morning if your read the blog only, and do not ever get to talk to us you might think we have a unhealthy, little boy. But, Wyatt is certainly not unhealthy!!!!!!!!! Maybe all these tests are being done because there are so many factors about his birth, genetics, etc that we can not answer when asked. One by one the appointments are being completed, and soon we can focus our energy elsewhere.
We had a busy weekend. We left Saturday morning headed for Dallas to pick up my nephews who will be here for two weeks on summer vacation. We stopped in Sherman, Texas to see our friends Sam, Melissa and their kids Natalie and Gavin. Gavin and Wyatt were in the orphanage together, and we were able to meet Sam and Melissa on our first trip to Russia, and then traveled back at the same time on our second trip. Our little boys got chicken pox on the same day. There are so many things about this family that bonds us together! We are thankful they live so close, it is an easy 3 hour drive from our door steps to theirs. The award of most change goes to their son, Gavin. I can not believe how much he has changed in 12 weeks, Natalie and Wyatt are gaining weight, and height. They are also changing before our eyes, but sweet Gavin has changed the most. With Melissa's permission I am posting a picture of their family, also several of my friends have already seen this picture and commented that you are a beautiful family. Thanks for a great Saturday morning! Then we continued on to Dallas where we had lunch with my Uncle Wayne, cousin Alex and his wife Taylor, and new baby Ginger and of course Don, Stephanie, Dylan, and Dustin. After lunch Wyatt went to the nursing home to say Hello to his Great, Great Aunt Blonda who is 94 years young!
Then we headed for home and pull in about 9:00 pm, so it was a 13 hours day and most of that was spent in a car, and again Wyatt was a champ!
Have a great week everyone, and look for the pictures to be updated by Tuesday!

Sounds as if you guys had a great weekend. We are glad to hear that Wyatt is healthy and growing! Be sure to tell Dustin and Dillon that Auntie and Uncle Feeble said "Hi".
Love you,

Hi Lisa!! Hey....you posted "Sam and Katie"....you meant Sam and Melissa. Smiles! Glad your head goes straight to me, though! AND WISH I only lived 3 hours from you!! I can't wait to see the pictures of Natalie and Gavin! How are they doing?? I am catching up with your blog now. Glad the tests are coming out mostly normal. What is the one that came out questionable, do you know?
Hugs to you!
Katie
Sure did enjoy getting the chance to have lunch with everyone over the weekend. Wyatt is such a special little boy, and it is such a blessing to watch you and Justin be the parents to him that he needs and deserves. What a great family I have!!! Love to you three.
Uncle Wayne
