It has been a week!

All is well with Wyatt....... Stitches have started falling out, and the bruising is almost gone. He did amazingly well, and I am glad it is all behind us. Funny story........ As you all know from seeing earlier posts Wyatt is in glasses for at least 4 hours a day. It has taken time, but now he will leave them alone for the most part. We had not been wearing them to church, before and after Church on Sundays is when we wear them. We did go to Worship only on Sunday( with strict instructions for no one in the nursery to change him, but page us if he needed to be changed) We are still using using certain changing procedures, and besides it would be hard on a new caregiver to see Wyatt's penis! Back to the story, we go to church and Justin asks if he should take Wyatt's glasses off and leave them in the truck? I said I think he will be okay with them on because he does not mess with them anymore. In we go, and I was stopped at his nursery by his teacher( she is an elder in our church). She out loud says to me, How are you? How is Wyatt feeling? And, then she whispers to me I thought he was circumcised, why the glasses? I got a laugh out of that, and explained we have been in glasses awhile, but it was more like glasses in training, and now that we leave them on we wear them more places!!!! I reassured her they did not operate on the wrong anatomy of his body........ Looking back I told Justin maybe that was the wrong Sunday to have him wear his glasses!!!!!

Glad to hear Wyatt is getting back to his normal routine. One boyhood "owie" down, countless numbers to go! Good luck, you'll get through them all. See you soon. Love to you all.

Simular story w/ my dad. When I was in H.S. my dad had to have surgery for hemrroids. For whatever reason one of my teachers thought he had to have some kind of eye surgery. When she saw him at a football game shortly after the surgery, she looked at him, and said. You look great! I can't even tell you had surgery! My dad thought it was a very strange comment. Long story short, the more it went, she realized she was wrong, and was very embarrassed!!
