We have made it to Vladivostok!
After several flight delays, and 2 days of travel we have made it to our destination. Can you imagine sitting in an airport for over 10 hours, on a hard seat, and not being able to understand a thing that was paged out? Well that was us in the Moscow airport today. We have been using our video camera to capture all the events along the way. Anyone up for a home movie night at the Meacham house? We have already met several other couples that are here to go to the same orphanage that we are going to tomorrow. Many of them have no luggage, or only part of their luggage. They traveled through Korea, as we traveled through Moscow. We have already been taken to the Dept of Education to ask permission to visit our son in the morning. We will be meeting the other couples downstairs, and will depart for the orphanage at 10:00am, and will spend a good part of the day there tomorrow. Irena is our transalator, and she has already shared with us that Andrey is a very happy baby, and also very charming! She did say that he does not like the flashes of the cameras, and that it is hard to take his picture. We are excited to be here, and we are still speaking to one another! We made great travel partners and seem to do real well with all the challenges we were presented with. I have said that we need to apply for the Amazing Race?!?!?!?!
Merry Christmas!

Yeah! You have survived your 1st trip. I pray for rest tonight so that tomorrow you will be able to enjoy your day with Andrey. Justin is going to be like Mike, he records everything when it comes to Sydney and Bryce. We have a 45 minute video of Sydney sleeping when she was a baby. Enjoy your day and the gift that God has given you.
Love ya,
Samantha
Oh my Gosh! Thanks for taking time to post! I got an opportunity to share in worship about Griff's first Christmas with us and at the end I asked our Church Family to remember you all as you were enroute to meet your son for the first time. Juanelle Hildebrand and Rebecca Brown said they were thinking of you all so much. I know you're getting lots of prayers from here! Glad to hear despite the delays you all are still speaking and have arrived safely! I keep looking at the time and counting on my fingers to see what time it is in Vlad, I think if I'm calculating right you all are 16 hours ahead so it would be 12:28 p.m. Christmas Day in Vlad while it's 8:28 a.m. Christmas Eve here. Praying your Christmas Day will be filled with even more miracles! Love to you 3,
Rykers
So glad to know that you arrived safely. Love to all of you and have a wonderful day with Andrey.

You guys are da man and da woman. I can't imagine the traveling you just did. Lisa, after the little sleep you got the night before you left, I'm saying you probably snored on the plane (Justin may be too polite to confirm this). Seriously, I hope you both are sleeping and taking care of yourselves. I can't wait to hear about the orphanage experience.
Remember that there can be some awkwardness here and there during those orphanage visits. Be cool! It's not you.
Loved hearing what Elena said about his little personality.
We can't wait for you guys to get back. What a great adventure for you guys! What stories you'll have to tell!

Lisa - we are all living this adventure with you. We are so excited - thank you for letting us be a part of this miracle! God has brought you to mind several times and I always know it is time to pray. I am praying God's protection, peace, rest, and favor.
We can't wait to hear about your first time with Andrey. Just know and be confident that you are covered in the love of Jesus, by those who love you. Love, Sharisse
What a wonderful surprise to find a new posting! So glad to know you arrived with all your luggage and are still speaking to each other, of course, who else could you talk to!?
Love to you all,
Auntie and Aiden Lee
Yeah! So glad to hear you've arrived. We've thought about you often the past two days!
Thanks for taking the time to let us know about your trip.

Not that you guys necessarily need yet another online adoption devotional--or have time for it right now--but just in case, I thought that this was cool.
O.K. I'm a big dork Dionne corrected me it is I guess just now like 8:30 a.m. Christmas morning for you guys! I'm not good with math. Praying for your first visit! Love to you 3,
Julie
Yeah!!! You made it. We cannot wait to hear about your first meeting and visit with Baby Meacham. And what you guys feel like is a good name for little man! We and our prayer partners are praying for all of you! Love and prayers always!
