What a Monday........
I had a hard time selecting favorites for this post, and all of these moments happened this past week so I decided to share them all. Isn't my little boy filling out( looking at these photos it is hard to believe he has only gained 1.5 lbs in the past 6 months, but that is what our Endocrinologist told us at today's appointment)? She did say that we need to draw some labs, so tomorrow will be a wake him and take him, the only difference is this will be Justin's first time to hold him while they get blood. I told him I might need to come and be sure that it goes good for them both, oh I remember my first time, and it was horrible. Also, we have recently started some intense speech therapy, and occupational therapy. My only regret is that I wish we would have started this a year ago, but no looking back and we will be grateful for the milestones we hit moving forward. He does not even realize he is at intense therapy because they make it so F-U-N for him. Just in the past couple of weeks his words are beginning........ The one he still has down, and has decided to use over and over is mom. Today, after the Dr's appt Wyatt was in the car and I had a couple of business calls to make so I did. Normally, Wyatt rides along quietly and observes his surroundings, not this afternoon. I am trying to handle a very delicate matter with a dying patient, and Wyatt is in the backseat loudly saying, MOM, MOM,MOM, MOM, and on and on. I do not think he even took a breathe in between the words. He was so proud of himself, I was horrified. I asked the nurse can you hear my 2 year old, she very nicely said "yes" hopefully after I go see her tomorrow she will in fact think it is a funny story that had MOM s-t-r-e-s-s-e-d out. I know everyone tried to warn me when the words came they would not stop! Oh, the timing my sweet boy......... One of the other pictures I included was on July 3rd. I had just put Wyatt to bed, and heard some fireworks outside so I decided to go get him, and go outside for a trial run to see if he would like the fireworks he loved them. We had a great 4th, we spent it with neighbors. Initially, Wyatt was frightened by the fireworks, but within minutes decided that were pretty cool! The other photo is of the way Wyatt prefers to drink water outside, who needs a cup when you have a long, green hose. It is all about the hydration! Enjoy the photos, and enjoy the week!

GREAT pics!!! What Wyatt isn't gaining in weight, he is gaining in length. He is getting LONG! SO many fun shots, but I love that one of him drinking from the water hose. That is classic! He is such a BIG boy now! I am happy to hear he is making such wonderful progress with his OT and ST! He is so adorable!! Thanks for sharing!
Hugs,
